There are thousands of young widows left helpless in Africa.Most are living in extremely poor conditions not knowing when their next meal will come for them and and their kids.with the support of Adullam Africa we are giving support to the widows by giving thyem the help they desperately deserve. Investing in widows economic project woulod set a direct path to eradication of poverty,gender equality and inclusive economic growth.empowering widows to support themselves and families is also a means of adresing social stigma that creates exclusions and discriminatory or harmfrul practices which is quite common. Africa is where a widow can be required to undergo a period of isolation and imprisonment purification ceremonies to cut the link with her deceased husband and pressed to remarry.
OUR CONTRIBUTION
1. Education and training:
Help to provide our communities with useful extra skills.not to mention they can come together with other widows which is a proven way to create a stronger society.
2.Key dates celebrations:
We offer key dates celebrations such as christmas events.This events brings widows together and they receive one-off food for celebration and a little grant funding for buying vital commodities to aid living,welfare and wellbeing during the festive period.
3.Grant fundings:
The loss of a loved one can leave a devastating effect on a widow|widower living in Africa,despite the emotional trauma it can also lead to instability and put the entire livelihood of their family at risk.
